happy first birthday!

Last year I got to see this sweet little guy enter the world. It’s amazing how quickly a year passes, especially that first year in a baby’s life. It was so much fun to see him a year later and see how much he had grown, and I’m honored his family asked me to capture some first birthday images for them.

A photographer friend that I know from online asked me to meet her down in Galveston to take some pictures of her and her kiddos. It’s fun and nerve wracking at the same time when you are doing pictures for another photographer…fun because they pretty much pose themselves and have super cool ideas, but nerve wracking because you want to do as good a job for them as they would for you or their own clients!
I of course had a great time meeting her and her girls in person! The water was also more beautiful than I had ever seen it before. Thanks for asking me to come down and take some pictures of your gorgeous family!
a busy few weeks…

I have not given this blog much love in the last month, mostly because I’ve been shooting more than I could keep up with! For the last few weekends I’ve done something different each weekend. First a toddler at the arboretum, then a wedding, then a family, then a birth, then newborn pictures of the birth baby, then pictures on the beach for a fellow photographer friend. Whew! I’m working on editing so I can get sneak peeks of all of those on the blog, but in the mean time here is one I snuck of my family on the beach while I was shooting my friend.
